Spring is here, Mardi Gras is over, and that means it’s time for the rest of Louisiana’s Festivals for 2011. I was just reading the Gambit’s 2011 Guide to Louisiana Fairs & Festivals, and definitely think we will be going to Jazz Fest and the Freret Street Festival . I also want to check out the Ponchatoula Strawberry Festival!

Have you had any crawfish yet this year? We had some a couple weeks ago and they are still rather small. But the news is saying that should not be a problem for much longer and that it is supposed to be a plentiful season.

Who doesn’t love Krispy Kreme donuts? Sweet, light and delicious. Krispy kreme donuts practically melt in your mouth. Of course down here in New Orleans, the local Krispy Kreme has black and gold sprinkled donuts, the colors of the Saints, of course!
